create extrude Cut
The Extrude PropertyManager defines the characteristics of extruded features cut extrude feature is that removing material from a part or assembly.
With multibody parts, cutting kitaa can use to create disjoint parts.
we can control the other parts to keep and which parts are affected by the cut extrude.
To create extrude Cut:
- Create a sketch.
- Click Extruded Cut on the Features toolbar, or click Insert, Cut, Extrude
- Set the PropertyManager options.
To extrude in both directions from the sketch plane, set the PropertyManager options in Direction 1 and Direction 2. To extrude as a thin feature, set the options in Thin Feature PropertyManager. When you drag the manipulator to set the size, an Instant3D Appears ruler so you can set precise values.
Click OK.
